I Believe in Miracles - You Soxy Thing!

I'm a child of the 70's - in all it's weird grooviness!   Bell bottom pants and disco music included.  If you put your thinking brain aside and just feel the music, you can't help but move to the rhythm.

In 1975 Hot Chocolate released "You Sexy Thing".  Here's a link.   It's one of those funny earworm tunes for me - the soundtrack to a happy day - where you just feel good. Bongo drums and a catchy bass riff - plus the first line - "I believe in miracles"

I was going about my day - thinking about sock yarn, of course - because what else would I be thinking of.  And BAM!  That song just pops up into my play list.  I think you can see where my brain went next - You Soxy Thing!  The perfect name for the sock yarn base.  It's 75% SW Merino, 15% Nylon and 10% Tencel.  The tencel gives it just a little bit of shine.  No - not the same amount of shine as Errol Brown's striped satin bell bottom pants in the youtube link above - but just enough to make it "soxy"

So I'm launching this website and business on my 52nd birthday!  It's a gift to me - where I get to do all the things I love. (I'll talk about that in another blog post.)

My birthday wish is that every one of you gets to make all the wonderful things you can dream up - and remember to "Believe in Miracles - You Soxy Thing!"
